Personal Life & Passions

Married 35 years, Carly and Ken have six grown children—three physicians, a Navy Special Operations corpsman, and two university students. A lifelong athlete, she enjoys tennis, golf, cycling, running, and “the occasional victory” on a pickleball court. Her Irish‑American heritage instilled a love of hard work, faith, and the outdoors, which led her to the Carolinas’ Intracoastal Waterway—now home to her family, vineyard, and plant‑research gardens. A self‑described “plant science nerd,” Carly’s library spans wheatgrass to seagrass, neurotransmitters to nootropics. She is an outspoken advocate for reducing toxic burdens in food, products, and environments, believing chronic‑disease reversal begins with raising a generation of children who understand a healthy diet, exercise and lifestyles because she integrated higher standards in her home; food choices, water quality, personal care products, exercise lifestyle, stress reduction strategies, creating a culture of love & spirituality. Carly believes it is the family unit that must change the course of cardiovascular disease, dementia, obesity, diabetes and cancers by raising of generation of healthy lifestyles; diet, nutrition, exercise & spirituality and not adopting endless physicians, medications, chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, depression, addiction, counseling sessions, and ultimately a physical, mental or spiritual chronic and devasting diseases.

Vision & Advocacy

Redefining Primary Care: Carly champions a model in which preventive, data‑rich functional medicine replaces the “15‑minute, symptom‑silo” status quo.

Affordability & Access: Her business model tackles the U.S. medical‑debt crisis by offering transparent, membership‑based care outside traditional insurance barriers.

Education: From community talks to social media, she illuminates concepts such as phytonutrients, gut‑microbiome balance, and healthy aging—translating complex science into actionable steps.

Spiritual Health: Carly believes that no personalized health journey is complete without cultivating inner spiritual peace that reconnects with the natural world. Her lifelong study of scripture and passion for botanical medicine inform her conviction that the body’s innate capacity to heal is amplified by time in nature, mindful reflection, and the daily choice to nourish both soil and soul!

Carly Willeford’s mission is to help individuals—and the healthcare system itself—break free from that “sick society,” reclaiming vibrant health through science, nature, and purposeful living.

Future Plans? When and if, Carly Willeford ever retires from teaching patients the soil-soul connections she states you’ll still find her embracing her life lone passions like the study of Hebrew and ancient languages and traveling the world hunting down biblical archeological sites, or chasing after rare and exotic medicinal herbs with science-backed health benefits! After that….until the end you’ll find her following in the same footsteps of Isaac Newton’s interest “engrossed in interpreting the book Daniel which has fascinated her since her youth!
